Watching brief on pipeline. Area 01, two parallel ditches 4m apart running approx E-W. Just to the N, three pits. Ditch 0013 recut twice. A piece of tile from 0003. Pit 0001 contained burnt clay, occasional charcoal. Also a fragment of possible pot and a small piece of tile. Thin band of clay around the sides of the pit. Area 04, a N-S feature. Two parallel gulleys with possible post hole. Area 05, ditch with 'V' shaped profile. (4)
