Full Description

Near river bank adjacent to old wharf and mineral line. One piece of Derbys ware; fragment of tile (? Ro). (1)
A few sherds of pottery were found, comprising a rim sherd of Derbys ware, and rim and body sherds of grey ware (same items, or new finds ?). (2)
2 small body sherds of Trent Valley AB IA pottery, both with scored decoration, in hard black sandy ware with reddish surfaces, were found at the site previously recorded as producing Ro pottery. (3)
