Full Description

Linear features, probably field boundaries, and possible double ditched trackway. (1)
Morph: 106.1.8 Roman drove road; part of group: Roman settlement. (2)
Watching brief on pipeline. In Area A, ditch 0003 corresponded to a known cropmark. It had straight, steep sides and a round base. 0.7m in width and 0.38m deep. Ditch 0004 also corresponded to a known cropmark probably representing a field boundary. (3)
Continuation of L4858, to N - see for AP refs. See also L4861 - continuation to E (perhaps including the pipeline trench), L4863 - enclosure to W.
