Skeletons with Ro pottery discovered 1939. (1)
The present occupier of Oak House has owned the site since 1933 but knows nothing of the finds noted by (1), nor do Doncaster or Worksop Museums have record of a find site hereabout. Mr A Oswald, now attached to the Birmingham Museum is on long vacation and could not be contacted. There has been former surface quarrying at the site. (2)
