A number of earthworks lie in a pasture field to the SW of Goldthorpe Mill. A broad E-W ditch, with a bank on its N side, runs parallel with the S boundary of the plot; the bank turns through 90 degrees at the SE corner of the field and continues N along its E boundary. A low mound lies N of the ditch in the SE corner of the plot. Other earthworks may survive towards the centre of the field, beyond the area visible from the road. (1)
