Description

This survey......aimed to examine a selection of villages in the north of the County to record surviving earthwork features of the past landscape..........All the villages were visited between January and March 1994. Inspection was limited to areas accessible via the roads and tracks in and around the village and footpaths or bridleways in its immediate hinterland. (1)
