Full Description

A series of earthworks occupy a pasture field S of Gamston Police House and fronting onto the Great North Road. A low curving bank, perhaps the remains of an embanked farm track, runs E form the Great North Road towards the farm buildings. A number of other low mounds and hollows, with no clearly discernable form, lie close to the buildings at the N end of the plot. (1)
