Full Description

Earthworks comprising substantial N-S aligned ridge and furrow with headland and N end, fronting High Street. An earlier line of High Street is preserved as a hollow way immediately S of the present road line. The ridge and furrow is cut by a series of circular pits, c 5m in diameter, each with its own mound of spoil, perhaps quarry pits. (1)
