Full Description

A series of earthworks occupy a pasture field to the W of Beech Lane. At the N end of the field, faint traces of E-W ridge and furrow remain. At the S end of the field a series of irregular linear earthworks and irregular hollows and mounds, with no clearly discernable pattern, occupy an area marked as containing a pond on the OS map, but no obvious trace of the pond survives. At the extreme S end of the field a substantial rectangular hollow, partially water filled, probably indicates the remains of another, now disused pond. (1)
See L6196 for adjacent earthworks.
