A complex group of earthworks cover a large pasture field to the N of Grange Farm. A series of regular N-S and E-W gulleys divide the S portion of the field into rectilinear plots, perhaps tofts. The plots contain a number of irregular earthwork mounds and hollows, principally at the S end adjacent to North Moor Road. The earthworks may well indicate the sites of former buildings. To the N an E-W gulley, with a low bank to the N, separates the tofts from an area of N-S aligned ridge and furrow. Further ridge and furrow survives in the fields to the N. (1)
