Full Description

A complex series of earthworks occupy a large pasture field to the S of Church End and bounded on the E (W?) by the Beckingham Road. At the S end of the field a series of shallow N-S and E-W gulleys are probably drainage features. The N end of the field has been terraced to create a large level area in the NW corner. A number of low earthwork mounds and hollows lie within the terraced area and to the E. (1)
