Hi , I live in GrangeFarm House Costock road and am a Parish Counsellor . What evidence apart from topographical do we have of this sunken village. I presume it is meant by this term as a village that was in existence and has now disappeared . Has archaeological excavations taken place to prove its existence ? it is now included in our conservation area . I would be most interested to hear more and how this was discovered
