Linear features - field systems ? (1) (2)
Trench 2 - two parallel ditches and a possible field boundary ditch. Both ditches measured c.1.1m wide by 0.4m deep, they were orientated NW - SE and represent the trackway ditches identified on aerial photographs. … Trench 3 - a series of parallel ditches and gullies orientated N -S. All the features identified within this trench correlate with the cropmark evidence. No finds were recovered. (3)
