Full Description

A small trench, 3ft square, was dug (through the cobbling), and in it, at a depth of 20in from the ground surface, were found 8 sherds of Ro pottery. (1)
Enquiries at the farm confirmed the siting of the works which were carried out in an old permanent pasture field. Pottery found 1962 was in NUM classified as C2 Torksey ware. (2)
