Full Description

Excavations at 48-52 Castle Gate in 1972. A series of P Med pits had been dug into the Med bank (L5681). Three C18-C20 graves with inhumations were dug into the bank (and the last phase of ditch fill). A robbed N-S wall had been built into the front face of the bank. (1) (2)
