Full Description

The boundary of the Med park is probably represented by a nearly continuous line of field boundaries, followed by the parish boundary, on the S, and by streams on the E and W with the road from Pinxton to Kirkby in Ashfield forming the N boundary. No evidence of an earthen pale was seen: the field boundaries are hedgerows on a slight bank. (1)
