Report on a series of watching briefs undertaken on land at Bawtry Lane, Misson, by WYAS in advance of mineral extraction between August 2005 and June 2009. The investigations undertaken between 2005 and 2007, predominately in the northern end of the site, were negative. Of the three areas monitored in 2008 and 2009, two contained no significant archaeological remains. The southern most area revealed a ditch yielding fragments of 2nd to 4th century pottery.
