Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was carried out on land at the site of HMP Lowdham Grange during groundworks for the expansion of existing facilities.The watching brief failed to reveal any archaeological deposits, finds or features within the development area. The absence of archaeological remains on the site suggests that the area has not been subject to any major occupational activity in its past.
