The assessment site is pasture land comprising an area of approximately 16ha, this is a pre-planning enquiry for residential development. HER and other historic databases, and Nottinghamshire archives were consulted as part of the study. The assessment concludes that there is low-medium potential for archaeological remains to exist within the site, and in particular may date from the prehistoric, Roman and Medieval periods – the report contains more specific detail on features and finds. The assessment contains a site map, a map regression exercise and modern photographs of the site.
