Abstract/Summary

Report showed that the main structure of the barn is dated to the mid-C16, the roof may have been replaced in the early C18. The main structural timbers were felled in the period AD 1545-9. The common rafters were dated felled in AD 1724. Other timbers were felled in the period AD 1684 – 1709.
