Title All Saints Church, Cotgrave (Timbers beneath nave floor) - Dendro Report
Author/Originator
Date/Year 1997

Abstract/Summary

Dendro report that concluded: that the timbers were an ad-hoc collection which were salvaged and reused as joists in the late C19 when the pews were put in place. The bell-frame timber…does have an early C17 date which may agree with the replacement of bells in the tower at about the same time. Two timbers…are C18 and may belong to a balcony and screen inserted then. The other timbers represent and earlier roof.
