Results of a fluxgate gradiometer survey which assessed the subsurface archaeological potential of a c. 45.5ha site off Teal close, Netherfield, Gedling. Interpretation of specific features was hampered by weak magnitude and poor definition of responses, which may be due to ploughing. The survey identified cropmarks seen in aerial photographs, ridge and furrow, remnants of former field boundaries, and modern activity (such as field drains and service trenches).
