Historic England is assessing the Anglo-Saxon cremation cemetery 750m west of Rempstone Hall which was discovered during archaeological assessment for East Leake Quarry. The area under assessment is being preserved in situ, there being no consent to quarry it out. REASONS FOR DESIGNATION DECISION The Anglo-Saxon cremation cemetery 750m west of Rempstone Hall is recommended for scheduling.
