Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was undetaken on land at Priory Farm, South Leverton, Nottinghamshire.
The site lies on the periphery of the medieval village and was likely situated within the open field system. Some ridge and furrow can be seen on aerial imagery to the immediate west of the site, and on land between The Priory and Church Street. The site was once part of Priory Farm, with a modern shed and other outbuilding occupying the ground.
Of five evaluation trenches excavated, three exposed modern archaeological remains of no significance. It is concluded that any development at the site is unlikely to disturb any significant archaeology.
