Abstract/Summary

All Saints Church Parochial Church Council & Vicar were granted full planning permission to erect two houses on the site of the former Church Hall, Church Street, Sutton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. The Church Hall development site covers an area of approximately 190 square metres. The proposed development site was considered to have a medium to high potential for archaeological remains and/or human burials, due to its close proximity to All Saints Church, which has Anglo-Saxon origins. An intesive watching brief determined there were no archaeological features or artefacts on the site during the intensive watching brief.
