Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was carried out during ground-works at The Coach House, 32 Main Street, Rempstone, Nottinghamshire. The site lies within the medieval core of the village and adjacent to the 17th century Manor House. Trenches associated with building extensions and a new garage were observed in three areas. All the trenches contained made-up ground. No archaeological features or finds associated with archaeological features were observed.
