Abstract/Summary

A programme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken at land off Main Street, North Muskham, Nottinghamshire. This was conducted during development of the site for residential housing. During an evaluation on the site in 2017 by Midland Archaeological Services, evidence of a quarry pit of Saxon date was recorded, along with a medieval/post-medieval plough furrow. This programme of work concluded that natural soil, subsoil and plough soils were present throughout the areas monitored and that no archaeological features or deposits were present.
