Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the excavation of the foundations for three new dwellings at 132 Wagstaff Lane, Jacksdale, Nottinghamshire. An archaeological watching brief was maintained during all intrusive groundworks associated with the new development. A layer of re-deposited natural material was identified along with a layer of topsoil which contained debris associated with the demolition of a dwelling that was previously located on the site. No archaeological structures, deposits or features were recorded during the course of the watching brief. No finds were recovered during the course of the watching brief.
