Date/Year | 2018 |
Abstract/Summary
A geophysical (magnetometer) survey, covering approximately 9 hectares was undertaken on agricultural land off Tiln Lane, Retford, Nottinghamshire. The magnetic survey has detected a number of agricultural responses which include medieval ridge and furrow, modern field drains and former field boundaries. Modern disturbance and a possible trackway can be seen to the west of the survey area, and appears to form a âTâ junction which projects north and south. Overall the archaeological potential of the site is considered to be low.
