Author/Originator
Date/Year 2014

Abstract/Summary

A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 4.5 hectares of harvested arable land. A small number of positive linear features of possible archaeological origin have been identified. A former field boundary, closely spaced parallel linear anomalies across the site and a former track-way also provide evidence of agriculture on the site. An area of amorphous magnetic variation to the north of the site is likely to be of natural origin while the remaining features are associated with nearby ferrous metal objects and modern rubbish.
