Title A Site Inspection on Groundworks for Erecton of a New Garage to the Rear of a Property in Gamston
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2010

Abstract/Summary

A site inspection was conducted on 21/07/2007 by the author following excavation of foundation trenches for construction of a garage to the rear of a property within the historic core of Gamston in Bassetlaw, Nottinghamshire. No archaeological features or artefacts were observed in the excavated trenches. Spoil had been removed from site so it was not possible to inspect the spoil heap for artefacts. Construction of the garage appears to have had no archaeological impact.
