Abstract/Summary
The evaluation was carried out as intended and all eleven trenches were opened. Despite the potential for archaeological remains to be present on the site, the only features identified were ridge and furrow from earlier agricultural activity. These features were present in all trenches except one, although from the geophysical survey results were only anticipated in three trenches.
No other features were present and no archaeological finds were recovered. On the basis of these results, the site is considered to have negligible archaeological potential.
