Full Description

Fieldwalking of the 15m wide pipeline easement… one Ro sherd recovered adjacent to the Fosse Way. Test Pits 01-07 - a small quanity of finds was recovered during sieving, including Ro sherds from layer 0002. Trench 08, trowelling of the trench surface revealed a Ro sherd and coin. Test Pit 06 - produced one Ro sherd. Test pit 03 - two further sherds of probably Ro pottery were found. (1)
