Full Description

Three trial trenches. Only three sherds of pottery were found, all unstratified. Two reversed C17 Cistercian wares, with red oxidised core and external white wash. Glaze completely removed from both fragments. The final fragment C17 - C18 courseware [sic], with brown fabric and dark glaze. (1)
Note - appendix 2 (p 22) records 6 sherds of pottery, descriptions of which do not match well those provided above.
