Full Description

Fieldwalking, Field 19: 33 sherds of Ro pottery were identified from the 35 recovered. 28 were Derbyshire ware, four grey ware and one mortarium sherd. Date of mid C3 - mid C4 for mortarium and absence of 'pre-Derbyshire' ware may indicate a date of late C3 or C4. (1)
