Full Description

Two antlers and several timbers were recovered, one antler from palaeochannel A and one from the adjacent gravels. … Both [were] red deer antlers. A large antler with part of the skull still attached. Had been worked with a groove cut 1/4 of the way around the beam. The groove is 'v' shaped and made by a stone tool. The second antler had been shed and showed no evidence of working. (1)
