Full Description

Clipstone Colliery. Production commenced 1922. The pithead and tip are very close to Clipstone village and the two opposing winding towers form very prominent landmarks. (1)
Closed 30/04/1993, reopened by RJB Mining 24/01/1994. All demolished apart from headstocks.
