Full Description

Stables, pigeoncote an cartsheds. Early and mid C19, with C20 additions. (1)
Dovecote, Mulberry Close, formerly Mulberry Farm. In courtyard of house on Cherryholt Lane. Rectangular brick structure, part of complex, with double pitched roof with pantiles. Walls 2 ft 8 in thick. Dimensions 23 ft by 16 ft, 18ft high to the eaves. Mud and stud nest holes of which no trace remaining. Horizontal timbers in brickwork for studs? Upper of two storeys. Present house 19th century, replacing an earlier one. 500 year old Mulberry tree in the garden. Dovecote is the oldest of all the buildings. No trace of flight holes or glover. Sunning ledges on east and west gables and south elevation. (2)
