Full Description

Stables and coach house, c.1820. Extended mid C19. (1)
The coach house and stables is a two storey brickwork building with a hipped roof construction, built c.1820 and extended in the mid C19th. The north and north-west elevations are rendered and the roof slated. The building is characterised by its brick dentil courses, casement windows with segmental heads and half round casement
windows. The ground storey is accessed through elliptical headed carriage doors which are in poor condition and through two recessed areas. The stables contain feeding troughs and dividers. Many of the windows are at a high level and provide poor levels of daylight. The first floor is accessed via an external brick and stone winder stair. The north elevation contains an existing hay loft and the roof has conservation roof lights. (2)
Planning permission granted for convertion to domestic use in Feb 2017 (16/00743/FUL), no condition for building recording by LPA. (3)
