Full Description

Farmhouse. c.1745. (1)

The roof of a brick vaulted cellar to the north east extent of the building and a small number of finds including sherds of 19thC Pottery and claypipe were discovered during internal excavations of Farmhouse in 2012. (2)

Map regression carried out by Bench Archtitects indicates a substantial symmetrical gabled building is present on William Seniors map of c1629. A map by Geroge Ingham dated 1760 includes elments of the existing buildings. (2)
