Full Description

Trial trench 4 was located within an area that produce significant geophysical anomalies. Four pits were found where larger stone has been removed and waste (small fragments of limestone and soil) redeposited. No dating evidence was recovered. These quarry pits could be of 19th century date or earlier. (1)
