Full Description
The standing remains between Titchfield Street and Woolaton Street appear to represent the remains of a
flour mill (context 001) and its boiler house (002) and domestic stabling to the rear of 22 and 24 Baker
Street (004-007), which can be seen on town plans of the late 19th century. Further standing remains are
more recent: associated with the building demolished at 20 Baker Street (008-011) or the boundary of the
Edwardian properties on Titchfield Street (013 and 104) although these do incorporate earlier stone walls
of buildings not seen on any early town plans (011 and 012).
