Full Description

Trench 18. A rail line with wooden sleepers, standard 1.45m gauge, contained within two brick walls and set within a granite sett floor. Running NNW-SSE. The length of surviving track was c.15m. Concrete foundation and concrete floor encounted in the same trench. (1)
Rail line on OS 25 inch s2 through Wellington Foundry running to meet M. & G.N Joint RY. Spur Line. (2)
