Description

Fifteen trenches and 6 geotechnical test pits were excavated as part of the evaluation works at Northgate, Newark, by APS. The test pits were excavated by machine to depths of between 1.50m and 2m below ground level. Associated boreholes were sunk using a mechanical auger.
