Full Description

Cut into the upper fill of a ditch was an inhumation burial that was orientated with its head 25 degrees due east of north. This grave was fully exposed and several iron coffin nails were encountered around the skeletal remains. Pottery of late 2nd to early 3rd century date was recovered from the grave backfill. (1)
