Full Description

Pit broadly circular (1m diameter) with irregular tapered sides and a broadly flat base. A crouched inhumation was located within the pit. The burial was positioned with head to the north facing eastwards. Late 2nd - mid 3rd century pottery and animal bone fragments were recovered from the grave backfill. (1)
