Full Description

Trench 2: 339g
Trench 3: 1346g
Trench 7: 636g

The contexts from which the bones originate are all highly residual. Trenches 2 and 3 contain the same clay extraction pit from probably the Romano-British period (MNT 27212), and Trench 7 contains several multiphase features and robber pits.

The bones were not analysed in any great depth because "identifying the animal bone to species from such a relatively small and mixed assemblage is unlikely to yield any significant information with which to interpret the site". (p. 50)
