Full Description

Irregular oval shape, featuring moderately steep sides and a concave base. 0.75m long, 0.65m wide, 0.22m deep. The pit was filled by a mix of soil and redeposited sand with abundant charcoal. No finds were found. A soil sample was collected for radiocarbon dating and produced a date to between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD
