Full Description

At the southwest end of the trench, the ditch ran parallel to two furrows and measured 0.92m wide and 0.3m deep. It was filled with a mid-greyish brown silty clay with occasional small, rounded stones, which produced a single sherd of medieval pottery. An environmental sample was taken from the fill, from which animal bone and uncharred grain were recovered.
