East-west oriented linear ditch with moderately steep straight sides to a sharp break of slope and a concave base.
Length: 2m
Width: 1.05m
Depth: 0.55m
Cut by a pit.
1 sherd of Charnwood-type Ware, 5th – 9th century. 3g. Discovered in fill interpreted as natural silting within the feature.
1 sherd of Nottingham Early Medieval Coarse Sandy Ware, late 11th – mid 12th century. 4g. Discovered in fill interpreted as natural silting within the feature.
4 sherds of Lincolnshire Early Medieval Shelly ware, mid 12th to early/mid 13th. 39g. Discovered in 2 fills interpreted as natural silting within the feature.
1 sherd of Nottingham Splashed Ware, early 12th – mid 13th century. 6g. Discovered in fill interpreted as natural silting within the feature.
A small fragment of unidentified animal bone. 4g. Discovered in fill interpreted as natural silting within the feature.
